Peer review
Banatica Review examines in a first internal phase the received writings following the so-called “open peer-review” system, by distributing them to the editorial board members according to the writings subjects. They would appreciate if the writings are in keeping with the Review theme and profile, with the scientific academic publications standards, and also if they prove originality and creativity in the historic writing. The board members could refuse the unfit writings with no obligation to motivate their decision to the authors.
The second phase would follow an external reviewing according to the “double blind” system. The writings are send to two expert-reviewers, prestigious specialists from Romania or abroad whose name would not be known by the authors, as well as the authors’ name would be by the experts. The experts would fill in an assessment leaf after reading the articles, and recommend the articles publishing, their conditioned publishing, or their refusing. The external reviewing would be made within 30 days. The filled in assessment leaf with the included recommendations is send back to the editorial board by the experts.
